So I took my teen party business that I was wanting in high school, bought it to college, and Im a freshman. And Im like video idea, or Im watching, you know, whats going on with inflation. Were trying to build these companies because of something that I really enjoy doing, but it just kind of differentiate that having the ability to market these products and having their own marketing channels. Ive clicked on your affiliate links for things related to refinancing and stuff. At what point were you like? I mean, I know we could, but I just didnt want to, because. So. This was the name that you had when you knew that you were going to do this. We did market it for a small portion of time back in 2019, maybe a little bit of 2020. It was coming up with the video topic and researching, which was the very intensive process and scripting, which now is writing the script, editing the script, making sure the script is okay. Its like three minutes long. Today were talking about different ways to earn passive income. So that was around a hundred thousand subscribers. And so that was when we started creating new products. He was then forced to make a decision between his sock company or carrying on with Minority Mindset. And now Im trying to rebuild a little bit of a backlog. I think I had like a solid month or so of, of evergreen content. A year and some change. And so I brought on a buddy of mine who is, I mean, I would definitely consider him a stock market expert. Like youre dumb go study, but I always knew that theres something else I need to do. So that was why we started off with a low pricing, subscription model. I started knocking on doors of every club, bar venue, restaurant on campus asking me if I can host parties here. And then we reach out to them to see if the BIA tested advertisements. It was, you know, I assumed that I should not take a break that I shouldnt cut. Whos watching, listening. This was his first experience in money management, and he eventually bought his first property a few years later for $8,000. I got this and boom. so right now the newsletter has just under a hundred thousand Or, so. How are you selecting or how are you finding advertisers for the newsletter? It was pretty bad, right. [00:10:06] Pat: If somebody is not performing, let them go fast. [00:30:58] Jaspreet: And. Thanks for having me. I was 17 years old. I skipped the way I taught. You might be able to have, you know, in-app purchases for coaching one-on-one if you want it to, I mean, theres a whole bunch of things you could do with that through the apple and Android ecosystems. And thats, again, goes back to the leap of value. Very, everybody sees you here as you. I was traveling so many different places, doing so many different things and I just didnt have a chance to record for awhile. WebMinority Mindset was founded to revolutionize the way people think about money and to make financial education fun. And so I, I spent a full day recording yet. We are probably 80% full for January, and now were looking into just filling up February and March. You have to, you have to live through the mess. But then, you know, this, this is not. We try to keep things in, in that type of word. I didnt know how to present myself. I remember my first video. February right now. So I was like, well, this might be. If youre an investor, whats a product that can help you out. So a little bit less than a year and a half. So I did that. Thats what companies spend so much money trying to create the perfect commercial for the super bowl, because they want to have an advertisement that people want to watch. We find them and then they become teachers. [00:16:49] Jaspreet: Thats what allows everything to, to grow. It was a tough process because, you know, w when was that ever, supposed to learn how to make a video, how to talk on camera, how to convey a message. Its good to be on with you. Jaspreet singh now recalls, There were times I had nothing to eat. When it comes to a particular video idea, Id love to know how do you extract that idea? And when I hit a hundred, it was a very unique time because a couple of things happened. So the research like isnt like, oh, I got to go spend two hours learning this. They would buy things that wouldnt increase in value and would just give temporary enjoyment. And as my friends say, sometimes like you have to be a disaster before you become the master. [00:02:25] Jaspreet: So then I went to night school for acting. Although he didnt receive any formal And you know, they miss taking care of your employees, taking care of your team, taking care of your people, give them some, if its a rev share, maybe equity, depending on what the product is, them feel like they are an owner and help them develop, grow and build something with you. So then I do day to another eight hours of trying to record just three minutes and. as we finish up here just for you, this has just been an absolute pleasure.
